- 정 있어요 ("Jong issoyo") roughly means to "I have compassion." The notion of "jong" is uniquely Korean, and difficult to translate. For example, "jong" can also be interpreted as "loyalty," and generosity of spirit.
Many Koreans believe that "jong" is strongest with those who live in the mountains and countryside.
To coincide with with the gentle and kind nature of "jong," I chose warm colors for the shirt--red text on a light yellow background, all accented by a basic mountain stencil.
